Role:
Jamestown assumed control of this land parcel after it had been planned and zoned. Amy led the redesign of the project, including changes made to floor plans and environmental features, management of all project consultants and 10-month permitting effort in Miami-Dade County. Amy also worked with a construction manager from Jamestown to develop the targeted bid list for general contractors and develop hard bid materials. During the course of construction, the team was able to incorporate significant upgrades and additional amenities due to savings achieved during the bid process. The project was completed with more than $1M in budget savings and rents were raised consistently after project opening in November 2012. In March 2013, Amy’s departure from Jamestown, the project was approximately 50% leased.
