Project Stats:
- $28M total project costs
- 1.74acres
- 114 units / 338 beds of student-oriented residential apartments
- 219-space parking deck
- 5,500 SF retail space in two 100-year old historic structures
Role:
Jamestown assumed control of this development after the initial luxury condo plan was no longer feasible due to economic conditions. Amy subsequently led the re-visioning of the project, assembling a team of experienced student housing design consultants to create a student-oriented apartment community just outside the historic district in Savannah, Georgia. With its entrance defined by two circa 1898 historic brick structures to be converted into retail and amenity space, Amy led the project team through a successful 10-month rezoning effort. The project is slated for completion in summer 2014 to coincide with the start of the 2014-2015 school year.
